Bo Fiyai Fe is an intimate gathering hosted by Beulah Adaka Boro-Waritimi in collaboration with Lush Gardens. The evening is built around a simple yet urgent intention: to reflect on how we can preserve the cultural identities of the Niger Delta as individuals, families and communities.
This collaboration sits naturally within the work Lush Gardens has been doing across art, food, events, culture, communities and storytelling. Over time, the garden has grown into an ecosystem where creative practitioners, community builders and everyday people can meet, think and create. In a region that is often framed only through its challenges, spaces like this help us hold on to our histories and imagine new futures. They give room for cultural memory, experimentation and honest conversation, which are essential for the Niger Delta today.

At Bo Fiyai Fe, food leads the way. Guests will be served a vegan interpretation of familiar Niger Delta dishes, flavours tied to home and childhood, alongside dishes that reflect the bridge between diaspora and local identities. The menu is thoughtful and designed to remind us that even as our food evolves, it still carries the stories that shape us.
The core of the evening is the conversation that follows. Beulah is creating a space for guests to think about what we may be losing, what we want to protect and what we hope to pass forward. To support this, everyone is encouraged to bring a piece of memorabilia that represents their connection to the Niger Delta. It might be a photograph, a piece of fabric, a letter or an object that carries memory. These items will guide a collective moment of looking back while considering the kind of future we want to build.
