Hello there,
Most of us have spent our whole lives looking at the Moon. We see it on our way home, through a window, from the garden, from the balcony. But how often do we actually stop to look at it properly?
On 29 August, Selfie Week Nigeria is hosting Lost In The Garden: The Garden Edit & A Cosmic Evening at Lush Gardens, Port Harcourt.
From 6 PM, A Cosmic Evening gives you the chance to experience the night sky differently. There’ll be guided astronomy, sky mapping and telescope viewing, with the August Moon as one of the highlights of the evening.
You’ll learn how to find things in the sky, look through a telescope and ask questions along the way. You don’t need any previous knowledge. Just come curious.
And if you want to make a full day of it, The Garden Edit starts from 12 PM with fashion, plants, handmade pieces, food, coffee and independent brands. It’s free to attend with registration.
