Water: let soil dry out fully between waterings -- every 2-3 weeks in Port Harcourt's heat (faster-drying than temperate guides suggest). Soil: well-draining, gritty mix; drainage holes essential given heavy rains. Humidity: PH's ambient humidity (avg 71%, higher May-Oct) is more than sufficient; no extra humidity needed. Feeding: balanced fertiliser once a month, rainy season only. Common issues: mushy, yellowing base = overwatering/rot, the main risk during the long rainy season if left uncovered outdoors.
